Three arrested following credit union robbery in Ogden

OGDEN — Three people were arrested following the robbery of a credit union in Ogden on Monday evening.

According to a press release from the Ogden City Police Department, a report was received of a robbery of a credit union in Ogden. Two male individuals reportedly entered the business, stated they had a firearm and demanded money before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.

“Responding officers quickly located the suspects in a red passenger vehicle driven by a third accomplice, a female,” the release said. “All three suspects were taken into custody without incident. There is no ongoing threat to the public, and no suspects are outstanding.”

The release adds that the department is continuing to investigate the incident alongside its law enforcement partners to determine charges, both of the male suspects are juveniles and no identifying information will be released about them.

“We are proud of our patrol officers for their swift response and thorough investigation, which led to a safe and timely conclusion to this incident,” the release said. “We would also like to thank the courageous employees and patrons of the credit union who provided critical information to help bring these suspects to justice.”

The press release concludes by saying that no further information will be released on the incident at this time.
