Church of Jesus Christ adds 11 songs to new hymnbook
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Thursday the addition of 11 songs to its new hymnbook, “Hymns—For Home and Church.” The hymns will be available on the Music Library, Gospel Library and Sacred Music app by Friday and are composed in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. The additions include a Tabernacle Choir favorite, "His Voice as the Sound"; an African American spiritual, "I'm Gonna Live So God Can Use Me"; and a song currently in the Spanish hymnbook, "Oh, How Great is Our Joy."
