Are you confused about what you should be putting in your recycling bins? The standards for what can be recycled may not always be intuitive, but they are strict.

Tossing too many items in the wrong bin can mean an entire neighborhood’s truckload of materials goes to waste.

All of Weber County’s municipal recycling goes to the same processor, Recycled Earth, so recycling standards are the same across the board. If you live in an apartment building, you may need to check with your management about what you can and cannot recycle.

The flowchart below breaks down what should get tossed and what can be recycled.
