FARMINGTON — The FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force netted three separate arrests in Davis County over the past week, according to charging documents.

Three men — 31-year-old Adam Robert Dimond, 21-year-old Angus Logan Clark, and 32-year-old Greggory George Marshall — were booked in jail in recent days.

Dimond and Clark were booked on Friday, Nov. 30 each on one count of enticing a minor by internet or text, a second-degree felony. Marshall was booked on eight counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, each second-degree felonies.

On Nov. 29, an undercover agent portrayed himself as a 13-year-old girl on an app named Whisper. The agent was allegedly sent “sexual” messages by both Dimond and Clark, where each allegedly tried to solicit sex, according to charging documents for both Dimond and Clark.

In separate incidents, each agreed to meet with what they thought was a girl, but were arrested by law enforcement officials.

After Dimond was arrested, he allegedly gave police a document described as a “consent to have sex form,” according to charging documents. Dimond allegedly admitted to police post Miranda that he was under the impression the person he was talking to was a 13-year-old girl and he “thought about engaging in sexual acts with her.”

After Clark’s arrest, he allegedly told police post Miranda that he believed he was meeting a 13-year-old girl for sex and brought a condom with him, according to charging documents.

The investigation into Marshall began on Oct. 13, when investigators began to focus on an IP address they believed was sharing child porn files, according to charging documents. After investigators observed a computer downloading files they believed to be child porn, they obtained a subpoena served to an internet service provider regarding information on the IP address.

Investigators later learned that the IP address allegedly belonged to Marshall’s home in Layton. On Monday, FBI Child Exploitation Task Force investigators searched Marshall’s home and found “several gigabytes” of child porn videos and photos, according to charging documents. Marshall allegedly admitted post Miranda to downloading the child porn.

As of Tuesday evening, only Clark is still in the custody of the Davis County Jail. He’s being held in jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Marshall reportedly posted a $20,000 bail and was released from jail. Dimond posted a $10,000 bond and was released from jail. Due to an issue with the Davis County Jail’s booking camera, Marshall’s mugshot was not available as of Tuesday evening, according to the records division of the Davis County Sheriff’s Office.

The three have not yet been given initial appearance dates at Farmington’s 2nd District Court.
