Approximately 400 female students from sixth through ninth grades attended the 17th annual Expanding Your Horizons in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Conference on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at North Davis Junior High. The EYH project allows female students to explore new fields of study in STEM careers by offering workshops. Students learned what it takes to be a doctor, rocket scientist, chemist, engineer, computer program and more through hands-on activities. Female students from more than 75 schools throughout Northern Utah attended the event.
