Layton High School played against Lehi High School during the first round of the 5A 2017 Utah High School Athletic Association state games on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. The Lancers destroyed Lehi 76-43.

Police are looking for two suspects they say robbed an America First Credit Union Monday in Layton.

4. Utah liquor bill would swap Zion Curtains for restaurant buffer zones

In heavily Mormon Utah, a lawmaker introduced a proposal Monday allowing restaurants to stop using walls or backrooms known as “Zion Curtains” that block customers from seeing alcoholic drinks being made. Supporters say the longtime requirement helps curb underage drinking by hiding the glamour of bartending.

Cooler temperatures have reduced flooding in Box Elder County, but officials are bracing for more meltwater when warm weather returns next week.
