SALT LAKE CITY — The dense fog that settled over Northern Utah on Sunday will last into Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service of Salt Lake City.

A dense fog advisory has been issued until 8 a.m. Monday for Box Elder, Weber and Davis counties. Visibilities of less than a quarter mile are expected throughout the Monday morning commute, the NWS said.

“If driving, slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you,” the NWS said.

Drivers should expect to see fog along Interstate 15 all the way up to the Idaho border and along Interstate 80 from Salt Lake City to West Wendover.

At least 20 flights have been diverted from the Salt Lake City International Airport on Sunday due to the fog, an airport spokesperson told Fox 13
