Ogden Canyon Snow01

Snow falls in Ogden Canyon on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018.

SALT LAKE CITY — More snow is making its way to Northern Utah on Thursday morning.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Weber, Davis and Box Elder counties from 3-10 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service of Salt Lake City. Up to two inches of snow is expected to fall.

Thursday’s high temperature in Ogden is expected to reach 30 degrees, while the predicted low is 19 degrees.

In the Wasatch Mountains, the advisory will last from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday. The mountains could see between 1-4 inches of snow.

“Roads will be cold, so even a small amount of snow will cause slick travel conditions for the morning commute, including Interstates 15, 80 and 84,” the NWS said.

Drivers should expect snow covered roads and limited visibility.

Following a late Christmas snow storm, the Utah Highway Patrol said in a tweet that the agency responded to 75 crashes statewide on Tuesday and Wednesday.

“This does not include slide-offs, non-reportable crashes and crashes where drivers simply exchanged insurance info without an officer present,” UHP said.

Two of UHP’s patrol vehicles were involved in these collisions. There were no injuries.
