SALT LAKE CITY — A cold front will bring freezing temperatures to Northern Utah on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The sun will be out in Ogden Tuesday, bringing the high temperature to 42 degrees, but that will drop a low of 22 at night, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service of Salt Lake City.

Wednesday’s temperatures will be slightly warmer, with a high of 46 and a predicted low of 30.

The weather service recommends preparing your property for winter by removing hoses from outdoor faucets, draining swamp coolers, winterizing RVs, and either covering or bringing vulnerable plants indoors.

Temperatures will bounce back into the 50s on Thursday and Friday. As of Monday, there is no snow in the forecast for Northern Utah, but there will be a slight chance of showers on Friday.
