OGDEN — After a series of mild, sunny autumn days, Northern Utah will see chillier weather and some rain over the weekend.
Rain is expected to start falling in the valley late Saturday morning, with a cold front pushing into the area from the northwest in the afternoon and evening, said Glen Merrill, meteorologist with the National Weather Service of Salt Lake City.
Though it will be warm for much of the day Saturday, it will get cooler as the front moves into Northern Utah, he said. Temperatures in the 60s are expected for much of the day, moving into the 40s that night.
Temperatures will be lower Sunday. Here’s what the Weather Channel is calling for around the area:
- Layton: High of 55, low of 38
- Ogden: High of 57, low of 37
- Brigham City: High of 55, low of 35
- Logan: High of 55, low of 32
