Letter: Salt Lake police chief a good man, should stay in role
I am a former Salt Lake City cop and retired from the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office and have had and do have relatives in law enforcement. My wife and I have met Police Chief Mike Brown and think he is without a doubt one of the nicest people we have met. He has absolutely no arrogance. So, to those who criticize him, Salt Lake City is lucky to have him as its police chief. Please, Mayor Mendenhall, do not even think about firing him!
