For the past few months the Utah highway department has been breaking up and repairing Highway 84 eastbound and westbound from the mouth of Weber Canyon to Riverdale. In so doing, they break out bad sections of the highway and pour new concrete in the sections they broke out, but they do not secrete the new cement level with the existing concrete. This leaves a large rise in the new cement and makes it feel like driving on a dirt country road with dry mud holes in it. It's really shaking our cars to pieces. Going west the right lane is really bad, therefore everybody drives in the left lane, and its usually bumper to bumper doing 70 miles an hour. Something should be done about the problem before we have a bad wreck.
