NORTH OGDEN — Police are investigating the death of a woman found deceased in a car last week.

The woman, 56, was found in the 2500 north block of 400 East at 4:04 p.m. on Jan. 25, according to a North Ogden Police Department release.

Police called in the state Office of the Medical Examiner and the Weber County crime scene investigations unit. “There were no initial signs of foul play, but a cause of death will be determined by an autopsy,” the release said.

There is no known threat to the public, according to the release.

Efforts to contact police for more information were not immediately successful.
