WILLARD — A car veered off snowy Interstate 15 Wednesday, killing the driver and seriously injuring a passenger, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on the northbound freeway at mile marker 358 just before noon, the UHP said on its Twitter account.

Further details of the Box Elder County crash were not immediately available.

The UHP said it had investigated hundreds of crashes in the past two days as storms moved through the state.
