December house fire in Ogden

A fire caused $60,000 in damage to a home at 318 Franklin St. in Ogden early Friday, Dec. 7, 2018. 

OGDEN — An early morning fire caused an estimated $60,000 in damages to an Ogden home Friday. 

At 1:21 a.m., firefighters from the Ogden Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 318 Franklin St. in Ogden. 

Three residents who were at home when the fire started evacuated safely, according to OFD. 

The fire was extinguished by 2:01 a.m. The cause of the fire hasn't been determined and is under investigated by the Ogden City Fire Marshal. 

No one was injured. Firefighters from South Ogden assisted in putting out the blaze. 

The American Red Cross of Northern Utah also responded to the scene to assist the residents who were displaced.
