OGDEN — A fire caused damage to more than 20 storage units in west Ogden early Sunday morning.

At 4:29 a.m. Sunday, Ogden Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 2550 S. 1900 West in Ogden. When crews arrived, they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from one unit and fire spreading to nearby units, Ogden Fire Deputy Chief Eric Bauman said in a news release.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, Bauman said. However, the fire rekindled several hours at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Three storage units sustained fire damage while an additional 20 units had smoke damage.

The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined and is under investigation.

Damage estimates weren’t available. No one was injured.

Roy City Fire Department also responded to the scene.
