KAYSVILLE — A suspect in a Walgreens robbery that caused several schools to lock down Monday, Sept. 15, turned himself in to the Kaysville Police Department.
Police released surveillance photos from the Walgreens at 210 N. Main St. in Kaysville and identified Christopher Allen Carter as the man who approached the counter, indicated he had a weapon and demanded controlled substances.
Carter contacted Kaysville police and turned himself in later the same day.
According to a news release posted to the Kaysville Police Department’s Facebook page, police made contact with Carter and booked him in the Davis County Jail.
“We would like to thank the public for the outpouring of interest and assistance in this case,” authorities said in the release.
Several schools in the Davis district were locked down for about an hour as a precaution while police searched for Carter.
