Police lights breaking news

CENTERVILLE, Utah (AP) — Police in Centerville are searching for a suspect who broke into a church and assaulted an elderly woman.

KUTV in Salt Lake City reports that the incident happened Saturday night when the victim was inside an LDS church which was locked.

Authorities say the woman was playing the organ when she heard loud pounding on the chapel door for several minutes.

They say the suspect then broke a window to get inside.

The woman suffered only minor injuries.

Nothing inside the building was taken.

The suspect is described as having average build and wearing a gray hoodie.
