BRIGHAM CITY — Bountiful High girls basketball led 9-8 after one quarter, then took control with a 19-11 second quarter on the way to a 56-40 region win Thursday night at Box Elder.

Jordyn Harvey led Bountiful (15-1, 6-0 Region 5) with 15 points and Taylor Harvey added 13. Lizzy McConkie and Milika Satuala each scored eight points.

Ashlyn Wight scored a game-high 16 points with four 3-pointers for Box Elder (7-11, 1-5). Kamri Andersen tallied eight points.

GRANTSVILLE 51, OGDEN 26

OGDEN — Ogden trailed 33-12 at the half in a home loss to region-leading Grantsville.

Brynn Smith led Ogden (10-10, 3-5 Region 13) with seven points and Ashley Christensen scored six.

WOODS CROSS 52, VIEWMONT 30

WOODS CROSS — Woods Cross took a 26-6 lead into the halftime break in a region win over Viewmont

Kenna Cowley led all scorers with 15 points for Woods Cross (11-5, 2-3 Region 5). Georgia Hatton added 13 points and Avery Poulton tallied eight.

Callie Peterson led Viewmont (9-9, 2-3) with 10 points and Kristina Gunnell added six points with two 3-pointers.
