WASHINGTON TERRACE — Goals come in bunches for the Bonneville High girls soccer team.

It’s just a matter of waiting until the second half.

Against Ogden in a battle of undefeated Region 11 teams Wednesday, the Lakers found the back of the net three times in the second half to claim a 4-1 victory.

Monday against Juan Diego, Bonneville scored three goals in the final 20 minutes to pick up a 4-2 victory.

“When we put it together and play our style of soccer, it’s beautiful,” Bonneville coach Rob McDaniel said. “We play great, great passes, we create great opportunities.”

Bonneville’s second-half scoring barrage Wednesday started in the 54th minute with a goal by Jaycee Stein.

Isabel Togisala, who assisted Stein’s goal, scored on a free kick in the 70th minute. She added a second goal in the 78th minute in which she headed forward a pass from Karly Conolly before finishing.

Togisala also had a part in Bonneville’s first goal of the game, which came in the 27th minute. Hayden Rupe assisted Bailey Hassell, but it was a perfectly-placed pass from Togisala to Rupe that set the play in motion.

“She’s got great foot skills, hard to push off the ball and (has) a great shot,” McDaniel said. “She’s a smart player, makes great runs.”

Ogden’s lone goal of the game came on a free kick by Elizabeth Pickett in the 61st minute.

Bonneville (5-1-1, 3-0 Region 11) extended its win streak to four games while snapping a four-game win streak for Ogden (5-2, 3-1 Region 11).

“I have a good feeling about this year,” Conolly said.
