COALVILLE — Titus Hughes put a double-double of 27 points and 15 rebounds as Ben Lomond romped to a 77-51 road win at North Summit. Garet Rentmeister added 15 points for the Scots.

Ben Lomond led 33-26 at halftime, then shot out of the gates with a 25-14 third quarter on its way to a big second half. Ty Esquivel had seven points with four steals.

BONNEVILLE 51,

JUDGE MEMORIAL 46

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Judge Memorial led at Bonneville 41-40 after three quarters, then the Lakers outscored the Bulldogs 11-5 in the final frame for the win.

Zack Alspaugh had 15 points and five assists for Bonneville. Hank Bushell added 14 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Kinnon Finder added 10 points for the Lakers.

CLEARFIELD — Clearfield led 41-40 going into the fourth quarter but could not contain the Idaho Falls (Idaho) comeback bid.

Kaden Swanson had 14 points and four assists to lead the Falcons and Connor Izatt added 10 points while Junior Lealao pulled down five rebounds.

OGDEN 62, RSL ACADEMY 32

OGDEN — Isaiah Coria scored 10 of his 15 points in the second half as Ogden cruised to a win over RSL Academy. The Tigers led 15-4 after the first quarter. Richard Lopez scored eight points for Ogden.

Wes Christensen, Austin Richards and Colin Knowles each added six points.

WOODS CROSS 84,

NORTHRIDGE 78 (OT)

WOODS CROSS — Woods Cross outscored Northridge 26-22 in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime, then outscored the Knights 16-10 in the final period. Jake Howe led the Wildcats with 24 points.

Brant Jerman had 18; both Tyler Roberts and Tucker Goodfellow scored 14. Northridge’s Alec Duffin led all scorers with 37 points.

COPPER HILLS 64

AMERICAN FORK — David Stevenson sunk two free throws with one second left to break a 64-64 tie and give Bountiful a win over Copper Hills in the Utah Elite 8 Tournament at American Fork High on Friday.

Brig Willard shot 10 of 15 from the field and led all scorers with 27 points. Camron Chism added 17 points and Rob Whaley chipped in nine points with six rebounds. The game featured 22 lead changes and was tied 14 times with neither team owning more than 5-point lead.

AMERICAN FORK 78,

FREMONT 66

AMERICAN FORK — Dallin Hall dropped 35 points on 12 of 21 shooting, but Fremont couldn’t overcome a 25-point deficit in a loss to American Fork at the Utah Elite 8 Tournament. Hall was 8 of 17 from 3-point range and 4 of 4 from inside the arc.

Oregon commit Isaac Johnson scored 21 points with 15 rebounds in just 19 minutes for American Fork.

GREEN CANYON 77, ROY 46

NORTH LOGAN — Roy trailed Green Canyon 37-20 at the half in a road loss. Robert Snow led Roy with 11 points.

CORNER CANYON 70, DAVIS 65

AMERICAN FORK — Davis used a 26-5 run to take a 26-7 lead early in the second quarter but Corner Canyon outscored the Darts 63-39 the rest of the way in the second round of the Utah Elite 8 Tournament at American Fork High School.

Brendon Redford led Davis with 24 points and 10 rebounds with four steals. Tyson Garff added 12 points and six rebounds. The Chargers went 28 of 37 from the free throw line.

SKYRIDGE 81, LAYTON 62

LEHI — Layton trailed 50-43 after three quarters then allowed 31 Skyridge points in the final frame.

Collin Jeppson led the Lancers with 19 points while Tanner Kofoed added 16.

AMERICAN HERITAGE 54

MORGAN — Morgan ran out to a 46-24 halftime lead in a home win over American Heritage.

Trey Miles scored a game-high 17 pints to lead Morgan. Six other Trojans scored seven points or more.

RIVERTON 67, VIEWMONT 53

RIVERTON — Viewmont trailed 29-20 at the half in a road loss at Riverton.

Parker Kearns scored a game-high 16 points to lead Viewmont. Dallin May added nine points and nine rebounds for the Vikings. Brevin Smith chipped in nine points.

SKYLINE-ID 46, SYRACUSE 43

SYRACUSE — Syracuse outscored Skyline (Idaho) 17-14 in the fourth quarter but it wasn’t enough.

Keaton Seaich was the only Titan to reach double-figure scoring with 17 points.

OREM — Lino Saez scored 20 points but Layton Christian fell in a road tussel at Timpanogos.

Jesus Tomasi added 13 and Micah Petty netted 11 points for the Eagles.

PLEASANT VIEW — Weber held Ogden to one point in the first quarter and led 26-12 at the half in a home win.

Paige Aardema paced Weber with 16 points, four rebounds and three steals.

MaKaylee Nye added 10 points while Gretchen Dye corralled 11 rebounds.

Brynn Soelberg scored a game-high 20 points and hauled in seven rebounds with three steals for the Tigers.

LAYTON 68, ROY 18

LAYTON — Layton outscored Roy 22-5 in the first quarter and led 38-8 at the half in the lopsided win.

Abbey Nelson led all scorers with 12 points for the Lancers and Atley Thompson added 10.

Autumn Vernon scored six points to lead the Royals.

BOX ELDER 57, LOGAN 49

BRIGHAM CITY — Box Elder took a 31-24 halftime lead over Logan and made that lead hold up in a home win.

Morgan Reeder led the Bees with 20 points. Emily Isaacson added 14.

SYRACUSE 65, CYPRUS 38

MAGNA — Syracuse took a 36-17 lead at halftime in the big win at Cyprus.

Kelsey Steed led Syracuse with 16 points. Ashley Agren added 10 for the Titans.

VIEWMONT 81, KEARNS 32

BOUNTIFUL — Viewmont used a 21-8 second quarter advantage to take a 40-19 halftime lead in a big home win over Kearns.

MARSH VALLEY (ID) 49, BOUNTIFUL 46

PRESTON (ID) — Bountiful used a 14-8 third quarter to take a 36-34 lead going into the fourth quarter but a Marsh Valley-Idaho final-frame surge bested the Braves in the Preston Indian Tournament.

Waverly Bowman led Bountiful with 17 points and Samantha Salmon added 12.

The Braves will conclude the tournament Saturday at 12:45 p.m. against the Malad-Idaho Dragons.

SKYRIDGE 51, FARMINGTON 49

FARMINGTON — Skyridge beat Farmington on a buzzer-beater from an in-bounds play.

Natalya Taylor led the Phoenix with 16 points while Maloree Chisholm added 11.

The pair each hit two 3-pointers.
