FARMINGTON — Roy led 17-16 after one quarter, then Farmington boys basketball outscored the Royals 35-16 across the second and third quarters to win Wednesday’s region contest 66-54.

Kendall Draxler led all scorers with 23 points for Farmington (10-9, 3-3 Region 5). Jack Davis added 11.

Porter Thackeray paced Roy (6-11, 2-4) with 15 points. Kobe Schriver added 12 points and Jacob Parkin scored 10.

VIEWMONT 66, BOX ELDER 61

BRIGHAM CITY — Box Elder led 26-21 at the half but Viewmont outscored the Bees 45-25 after the break in a region contest.

Josh Barnes scored 17 points for Viewmont (5-12, 3-3 Region 5). Parker Kearns netted 16 points, Brash Emery tallied 13 and Gavin Chowen added 11.

Riley Dahlgren led all scorers with 20 points on six 3-pointers for Box Elder (3-13, 1-4). Ronnie Smith added 16 points, Parker Buchanan had 13 and Jaron McKee tallied 10.

SKY VIEW 77, BEAR RIVER 52

GARLAND — Bear River fell behind 18-9 after one quarter in a region home loss to Sky View.

Mark Huber led the Bears (15-6, 4-3 Region 12) with 16 points and Wyatt Roholt added 15. Bear River shot 5 of 24 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Mason Falslev scored a game-high 25 points for Sky View (11-7, 5-2 Region 12).
