SMITHFIELD — Fremont girls basketball led at Sky View 18-16 after two quarters, then outscored the Bobcats 29-18 the rest of the way to take control for a 47-34 non-region win Tuesday.
Emma Calvert and Timea Gardiner each had 11 points to pace Fremont. Halle Duft added nine points for the Silver Wolves (2-0). Fremont hosts Copper Hills on Friday.

PLEASANT VIEW — Salem Hills led 31-25 after three quarters, but Weber fought back to take a 42-36 lead in the final frame then hit a free throw late before two Skyhawk 3-pointers made it a one-point victory.
Hudson Schenck scored a game-high 20 points for the Warriors. Brandt Opheikens added nine pints and 12 rebounds. Braedon Iverson matched Opheikens’ 12 boards and had five steals.

STANSBURY PARK — Bear River used a 23-0 second quarter to run away from Stansbury.
Wyatt Roholt scored a game-high 17 points to pace Bear River. Mark Huber netted 11 and Logan Litchford added 10 points.

MORGAN — Park City led Morgan by five points with 19 seconds left, but a 3-pointer, a steal and a perfect 4 for 4 mark from the free throw line lifted the Trojans to the improbable victory.
Jack Cameron hit two from the charity stripe and then a long ball to tie the game. Sophomore point guard Sam Hansen stole the Park City inbounds pass and hit two free throws for the win.
Tre Miles had a game-high 17 points for Morgan. Seth Hadley added 12 and Kaleb Calderwood scored 11 points.

OGDEN — Ben Lomond fell behind Granger 22-11 after one quarter in the home loss.
Titus Hughes led the Scots with 21 points and six rebounds. Stephon Watson added a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds. Chans Edjamboya tallied eight points and 11 boards.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN — A 27-point fourth quarter wasn’t enough for St. Joseph to overcome a big deficit at Rockwell on Wednesday. The Jayhawks trailed 51-35 heading into the final frame.
Sayveon Armstrong had a triple-double of 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals, falling just three assists shy of a quadruple-double with seven.
Cameron Kierejewski scored 15 points, Max Forester had nine and Gavin Andersen scored seven points with seven rebounds.

SALT LAKE CITY — Woods Cross fell behind at Skyline 23-20 after the first frame, but outscored the Eagles 21-2 in the second quarter to take control.
Jake Howe led Woods Cross with 15 points. Tyler Roberts scored 13, Josh Larsen netted 11 and Elliott Spencer added 10 points for the Wildcats.

LAYTON — Northridge fell at home to Herriman in double overtime despite 19 points and five 3-pointers from Mason Macrum. Alec Duffin scored 13 points and Colin Barrett added 10 for the Knights.
