PLEASANT VIEW — Quinn Bennett hit a 3-pointer with two seconds left to score a big 58-55 win for Weber boys basketball and hand Fremont its first region loss Friday.
Bennett hit five 3-pointers on the night to score 23 points for Weber (11-7, 5-4 Region 1). Hudson Schenck totaled 13 points, five rebounds and five assists, and Max Triplett added 12 points and seven rebounds.
Dallin Hall scored a game-high 24 points for Fremont (14-5, 8-1), adding nine rebounds and five assists. Baylor Harrop added 11 points.
DAVIS 67, SYRACUSE 53
SYRACUSE — Davis kept up its bid to control Region 1’s second seed — and stay alive in the region title race — by taking a 37-14 halftime lead and cruising to a win over Syracuse.
Jake Sampson hit four 3-pointers to lead Davis (14-7, 8-2 Region 1), which shot 10 of 21 from 3 as a team. Tyson Garff scored 12 points and Brendon Redford added 11.
Syracuse (5-16, 1-9) got 13 points from Jared Palmer, and nine points and nine rebounds from Blake Soifua.
BONNEVILLE 59, BEN LOMOND 55 (OT)
OGDEN — Ben Lomond led 33-30 at the half but Bonneville came back to force overtime and outscored the Scots 7-3 in extra time to pick up a region win.
Zach Alspaugh led the Lakers (14-5, 8-2 Region 11) with 13 points. Tyler Hancock added 12 points and five rebounds. Hank Bushell and Luke Dixon each scored 10 points, with Bushell pulling down 10 rebounds and Dixon dishing four assists.
Garet Rentmeister scored a game-high 16 points for Ben Lomond (6-13, 1-9), hitting three 3-pointers and handing out four assists. Titus Hughes added 13 points and six rebounds.
The win gives Bonneville a stranglehold on the Region 11 two-seed.
MORGAN 59, JUDGE MEMORIAL 48
SALT LAKE CITY — Morgan outscored Judge Memorial 51-37 over the final three quarters to finish its second consecutive unbeaten region season.
Trey Miles led the Trojans (16-5, 8-0 Region 13) with 18 points. Carter Thackeray added 11.
BOX ELDER 59, ROY 54
BRIGHAM CITY — Box Elder took a 48-37 lead into the fourth quarter and held off a Roy charge in the final frame for a region win.
Ronnie Smith led the Bees (2-13, 2-5 Region 5) with 13 points while Riley Dahlgren and Parker Buchanan each added 12.
Porter Thackeray paced Roy (6-12, 2-5) with a game-high 25 points, including three 3-pointers. Easton Bitton added 11 points.
BEAR RIVER 64, MOUNTAIN CREST 43
GARLAND — Bear River took control by outscoring Mountain Crest (5-14, 1-7 Region 12) 20-7 in the second stanza.
Wyatt Roholt led the Bears (16-6, 5-3) with 22 points on four 3-pointers. Ren Fonnesbeck hit five treys on his way to 19 and Mark Huber had 17 with three 3s.
The result has Bear River tied for third place in the region with Logan.
FARMINGTON 67, BOUNTIFUL 59
BOUNTIFUL — Farmington led 30-20 at the half on the way to a region road win at Bountiful.
Kendall Draxler led the Phoenix (11-9, 4-3 Region 5) with a game-high 24 points on four 3-pointers. McKay Thomsen added 18 points on three treys.
Brig Willard led Bountiful (13-8, 6-1) with 20 points. Camron Chism and Robert Whaley each scored 11.
VIEWMONT 76, WOODS CROSS 64
BOUNTIFUL — Parker Kearns totaled 26 points, five rebounds and four assists, shooting 9 of 12 overall and 4 of 4 from deep, to lead Viewmont to a key region win.
Gavin Chowen added 13 points and Viewmont (6-12, 4-3 Region 5) erased a 17-7 deficit after one quarter by outscoring Woods Cross 44-22 over the next two quarters.
Jake Howe scored 14 points and Jake Lewis 12 for Woods Cross (12-6, 3-4).
PARK CITY 75, OGDEN 55
PARK CITY — Ogden fell behind 24-8 after one quarter and couldn’t recover in a road loss to Park City (5-13, 2-7 Region 11).
Payton Boney led Ogden (4-14, 1-8) with 11 points. Ben Howard scored 10 points and Isaiah Coria added nine.
ST. JOSEPH 73, UTAH MILITARY 33
OGDEN — St. Joseph led 51-20 after three quarters on the way to a region win over Utah Military Academy.
Sayveon Armstrong paced St. Joseph (10-12, 4-6 Region 16) with 21 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and five steals. Gavin Andersen added 13 points and 13 rebounds, CJ Kierejewski had 12 points and seven steals, and Nick Garcia added 11 points and seven rebounds.
James Summers led Utah Military (1-16, 0-9) with 11 points.
LAYTON CHRISTIAN 107, NORTH SUMMIT 72
COALVILLE — Layton Christian (18-6, 10-0 Region 16) used a 62-point first half to pick up a win at North Summit (12-10, 8-2) and finish the Region 16 season undefeated. No stats were reported.
FREMONT 69, WEBER 32
PLEASANT VIEW — Haylee Doxey and Emma Calvert each scored 17 points to lift Fremont to a region win at Weber.
Halle Duft added 11 points for the Silver Wolves (18-1, 11-0 Region 1). Doxey added six rebounds and five steals while Calvert and Timea Gardner each had five rebounds. Duft dished out four assists.
Ashley Lund led all scorers with 18 points to pace Weber (13-7, 6-5). Paige Aardema had six rebounds.
BOX ELDER 52, ROY 26
BRIGHAM CITY — Emily Isaacson scored 18 points and Box Elder cut down the nets to celebrate a Region 5 outright championship after a win over Roy.
Morgan Reeder added 10 points for the Bees (16-5, 9-0 Region 5).
Sha’Keria Joiner led Roy (0-19, 0-9) with five points.
SYRACUSE 47, DAVIS 37
SYRACUSE — Syracuse led 23-22 at the half and pulled away after the break for a region win over Davis.
Paityn Williams paced Syracuse (14-6, 7-4 Region 1) with 13 points and five rebounds. Baylee Sanders had 10 points, three assists and three steals while Rachel Godfrey added 12 points and seven rebounds.
The result draws Syracuse into a tie with Davis for Region 1’s two-seed.
Hannah Loveland scored a game-high 14 for Davis (13-7, 7-4 Region 1). Kelsey Leavitt had nine points and Callie Tolman added seven.
BOUNTIFUL 42, FARMINGTON 28
BOUNTIFUL — Bountiful led 21-20 at the break and held Farmington to eight second-half points in a region win.
Brooklyn Taylor, Samantha Salmon and Waverly Bowman each scored 10 points for Bountiful (8-13, 3-6 Region 5).
Valerie Kunzler led Farmington (12-8, 6-3) with eight points.
VIEWMONT 46, WOODS CROSS 34
BOUNTIFUL — Viewmont led 22-17 at the half, then took control in the third quarter with a 12-7 scoring advantage in a region win over Woods Cross.
Karlia Gunnell scored a game-high 18 points to lead Viewmont (8-12, 5-4 Region 5). Grace Mackay added eight.
Taylor Jackson led Woods Cross (6-13, 4-5) with 11 points.
MORGAN 62, JUDGE MEMORIAL 59 (2OT)
MORGAN — Morgan trailed 28-13 at the half but held Judge Memorial (12-8, 5-3 Region 13) to 18 points in the second half to force overtime, then won the game with a 10-7 advantage in the second overtime on Thursday.
Ashlyn Morrell paced the Trojans (10-11, 6-3) with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Jacie House scored 13 while Sydney Cragun had 12 points, 12 rebounds and eight steals. Quyncee Dorius hauled in 20 rebounds, with 14 coming on the offensive glass.
PARK CITY 54, OGDEN 50
PARK CITY — Ogden (5-13, 3-6 Region 11) led 41-36 after three quarters only to see Park City (2-16, 2-7) outscore the Tigers 18-9 in the final frame. No stats were reported.

OGDEN — St. Joseph took a 28-2 lead into the break in a region win over Utah Military Academy.
Virginia Tomon had a monster game to lead St. Joseph (11-11, 3-7 Region 16) with 20 points, 23 rebounds, six steals and three assists. Kathleen Von Hoffman had 12 points and four steals while Carmyn Ingram scored 10 points.
Dylan Furniss and Noelle Falashi each scored four points to lead Utah Military (5-14, 0-8).
