PLEASANT VIEW — Weber (6-3) boys basketball trailed 12-11 after one quarter but outscored Mountain Crest 17-3 in the second stanza to take control as the Warriors beat the Mustangs 49-40 in their final non-region tuneup Thursday.

Hudson Schenck paced the Warriors with 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists, four steals and three blocks.

Max Triplett added 12 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

BOX ELDER 60, MOUNTAIN CREST 41

BRIGHAM CITY — Box Elder (7-4) ran out to a 36-16 halftime lead in a home win over Mountain Crest.

Emily Isaacson led all scorers with 25 points on three 3-pointers for the Bees. Jenna Mortensen scored 10 and Annika Quaile added eight for Box Elder.

OLYMPUS 69, ROY 21

HOLLADAY — Roy (0-10) trailed 43-10 at the half in a lopsided road loss at Olympus.

Saige Nielsen scored nine points to lead the Royals.

NORTH SUMMIT 83, MORGAN 60

MORGAN — Morgan (5-8) led 12-11 after the first quarter but was outscored 72-48 the rest of the way in a home loss to North Summit.

Ashlyn Morrell led Morgan with 14 points. Alex Trussell added 13 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks while Sydney Cragun had 13 points, eight steals and four assists for the Trojans.

BINGHAM 63,

VIEWMONT 43

SOUTH JORDAN — Viewmont (3-8) fell behind 16-5 after the first quarter and could not recover in a road loss at Bingham. No stats were reported.
