Bonneville’s Sam Hendrickson and Gavin Kofford won the Region 11 championship at No. 2 doubles on Thursday at Stansbury High. Hendrickson and Kofford defeated Park City’s Colton Stephens and Alex Burkemper.

The Lakers finished second in the team standings behind Park City, which won region titles in all three singles brackets and in No. 1 doubles. Bonneville’s Caden Heaton fell to Dylan Applegate at No. 1 singles, Andrew McCall fell to Tucker Lee and Brecken Benard lost against Will Effrusy.

The No. 1 doubles team of Mitchell Holden and Jeremy Hopkins fell to Dallen and Quinn Dicesaris. Ben Lomond’s No. 1 doubles team of Quin Sandau and Luke Kaschmitterz finished in third place and will be seeded third in the upcoming state tournament.

Karly Conolly (Bonneville) plans to play at Western Wyoming Community College.

Alyssa Ulugalu (Weber High, Portland State) signed with Utah State.

Brookelle Tripp (Viewmont) signed with Utah State.


Davis teammates Brooklyn Halliday and Katelyn Day signed with Westminster College.


St. Joseph teammates Gavin Andersen and Nick Garcia signed with Shasta College in Redding, California.
