Abbie Fuhriman scored eight of Bear River’s first 10 points as the Bears (4-14, 2-6 Region 12) cruised to a vital 53-32 win over Mountain Crest on Thursday night.

Fuhriman scored nine more points in the third quarter and finished with a game-high 17. Kenzie Bywater added 13 as BR outscored the Mustangs 19-7 in the third quarter.

BR remains one game back of fourth-place Sky View. With two games left, the Bears need to win out and the Bobcats need to lose their final two games in order for BR to qualify for the state playoffs.
