WASHINGTON TERRACE — Bonneville girls basketball took a 14-5 lead after the first quarter and ran away from Roy to win 57-15 at the Harry Burchell Classic on Friday.

Karly Conolly scored a game-high 12 points for the Lakers while Jenna Czarnecki added 10 points. Bonneville will face Riverton in the tourney championship Saturday.

Saige Nielsen led the Royals with seven points.

PLAIN CITY — Fremont led 32-14 at the half and held off a Copper Hills rally in a home win.

Timea Gardiner led the Silver Wolves with 13 points while Emma Calvert added 12.

Lenisi Fineanganofo scored 10 points for Copper Hills.

MANILA 36, ST. JOSEPH 35

MANILA — St. Joseph’s comeback bid fell just short in a road loss at Manila. The Jayhawks trailed 15-10 at the half.

Virginia Tomon led St. Joseph with 16 points. Kathleen Von Hoffmann added nine and Camryn Ingram scored seven points.

LEHI 62, BEAR RIVER 39

LEHI — Bear River fell behind 21-5 after one quarter in a loss at Lehi.

Cailee Sidwell led the Bears with 13 points. McKenzie Bywater added 12.

VIEWMONT — Viewmont led 11-8 after the first quarter but couldn’t hold the lead in a home loss to Pleasant Grove. No stats were provided.

LAYTON — Danyale Thomas scored 23 points for Layton Christian but it wasn’t enough in a home loss to Summit Academy.

ST. GEORGE — Box Elder beat Desert Hills in their first-round game at the Desert Hills Holiday Classic.

Morgan Reeder led the Bees with 30 points. Emily Isaacson added 24. Reeder and Isaacson each hit five 3-pointers.

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Northridge fell to Riverton in a lopsided affair in the Harry Burchell Classic at Bonneville High School. No stats were provided. Northridge will face Roy in the Classic consolation game Saturday.

WEBER 63, BOX ELDER 49

PLEASANT VIEW — Weber took a 35-21 halftime lead over Box Elder and held it through the second half.

Hudson Schenck paced the Warriors with 22 points, nine assists and three steals. Braedon Iverson hauled in 14 rebounds and Logan LaFeber added eight points.

Tyson Madsen had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Bees. Conner Stevenson added 11 points and two steals.

SYRACUSE 54, CEDAR 42

DRAPER — Syracuse outscored Cedar 21-9 in a decisive fourth quarter to pick up a win at the Corner Canyon Tournament of Champions.

Kingston Williams paced the Titans with 17 points while Keaton Seaich added 15 and Kobe Rusch scored nine. Syracuse will conclude the tournament Saturday against Alta.

DELTA 75, MORGAN 72

RICHFIELD — Morgan led Delta 32-25 but the Rabbits scored 50 points in the second half to claim a win in the Central Utah Boys Basketball Preview at Sevier Valley Center.

Seth Hadley and Tyson Hurd each scored 13 for Morgan. Sam Hansen scored 11 while Kaleb Calderwood tallied a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Trojans.

Derek Smith scored a game-high 39 points for Delta.

ROY 70,

ROWLAND HALL 67

ROY — Roy trailed Rowland Hall 20-18 after the first quarter, but grabbed the lead in the second stanza and never trailed again.

Kobe Schriver led all scorers with 23 points for the Royals. Jakob Parkison and Ryan Hansen each added 14.

BONNEVILLE 74,

LOGAN 46

LOGAN — Bonneville took a 30-point lead in the third quarter on the way to a big win at Logan.

Zack Alspaugh led all scorers with 17 for the Lakers. DJ Frye had 12 points, Henry Bushnell 11 and Tyler Hancock added 10.

Logan was led by Kyle Truex with 16 points.

LAYTON 92, RIDGELINE 84

MILLVILLE — Trailing 21-18 after the first quarter, Layton outscored Ridgeline 21-8 in the second stanza to take control in a road win.

Five Lancers scored in double figures, led by 29 points from Ethan Potter. Collin Jeppson scored 18 and Jacob Randall had 15. Landon Brandt and Tanner Kofoed each netted 12 points.

Foster Johnson and Landon Brenchley combined for 57 points for the RiverHawks.

FARMINGTON 73, NORTHRIDGE 60

FARMINGTON — Farmington ran out to a 17-6 first-quarter lead over Northridge for a home win.

Kendall Draxler paced Farmington with 24 points while McKay Thomsen scored 13.

WASATCH ACADEMY 79, DAVIS 54

MT. PLEASANT — Davis was outscored 30-16 in the final quarter and fell in a road game at independent power Wasatch Academy.

Trevan Leonhardt led Davis with 15 points, five rebounds and four assists. Jake Sampson added 13 points and five rebounds. The Darts shot 18 of 51 (35 percent) overall and 4 of 23 (17 percent) from the 3-point line.

Mady Sissoko, a four-star prospect, led Wasatch Academy with 20 points and eight rebounds.

BOUNTIFUL 79, WEST 49

BOUNTIFUL — Bountiful outscored West 40-15 across the second and third quarters, running away with a big home victory Friday.

Rob Whaley led the Braves with 15 points. Camron Chism added 11 points.

BEAR RIVER 74, OGDEN 45

GARLAND — Bear River used a 32-4 third quarter to break open the game and beat Ogden in the second round of the Bear River Winter Classic.

Mark Huber led all scorers with 27 points on five 3-pointers for the Bears. Wyatt Roholt tallied 15 points and Ren Fonnesbeck added 14. Bear River hit 12 3s in the game.

Austin Richards had 10 points for Ogden.
