PLEASANT VIEW — Syracuse baseball scored 12 runs in the top of the seventh inning to take a 19-15 lead, then, after Weber tied it at 19 in the bottom of the seventh, the Titans plated three in the eighth for a 22-19 win Tuesday.

Hunter Wilder and Dylan Hawkes each homered for Syracuse (10-9, 7-6 Region 1). Dougray Humphery batted 2 for 5 with a triple and five RBIs.

Caden Oborn batted 3 for 6 for Weber (8-12, 3-10) with a home run, a double and six RBIs. Nic Erickson hit a grand slam.

The 41 combined runs is fifth-most in state history.

DAVIS 7, NORTHRIDGE 6

KAYSVILLE — Jake Maw scored on Parker Jensen’s sacrifice fly to give Davis a walk-off win over Northridge after trailing 6-0.

Jensen drove in two and had one of the four Davis (14-9, 11-5 Region 1) hits on the day. Tyler Jorgensen earned the win in relief.

Jacob Rhoades hit a double and Tyson Denning drove in two for Northridge (3-16, 3-10).

CLEARFIELD 9, LAYTON 8

LAYTON — Clearfield led 9-1 in the sixth and held off a Layton comeback bid.

Bryson Hirabayashi picked up the win for Clearfield (10-9, 8-5 Region 1) and drove in three. Conner Coleman added an RBI triple while Ethan Giacalone drove in two with a double.

Caleb Brown hit a double for Layton (9-11, 6-7)

BOUNTIFUL 12, VIEWMONT 0

BOUNTIFUL — Josh Welling batted 3 for 3 and drove in one as Bountiful (10-8, 5-5 Region 5) topped Viewmont in five innings. Jackson Skidmore hit 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs. Lance Behrends earned the win.

Jaxon Uffens batted 2 for 2 for the only Viewmont (6-13, 6-4) hits.

FARMINGTON 10, ROY 4

FARMINGTON — After trailing 2-0, Farmington scored 10 runs in the sixth inning to beat Roy.

Dylan Jeppson led Farmington (8-12, 6-4 Region 5), batting 2 for 3 with a triple and three RBIs and picking up the win with four strikeouts in 6 ⅔ innings. Brock Brown added a double and two RBIs.

Porter Thackeray hit a solo home run and Jaxson Dart batted 2 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs for Roy (13-7, 6-4).

JUAN DIEGO 15, BEN LOMOND 0

OGDEN — Brady Walling smacked a double for Ben Lomond’s (1-17, 0-15 Region 11) only hit against Juan Diego.

PARK CITY 13, OGDEN 1

OGDEN — Phil Ruhnke batted 2 for 3 and Matt Garceau hit a triple in Ogden’s (4-15, 3-12 Region 11) loss to Park City.

STANSBURY 4, BONNEVILLE 1 (8)

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Stansbury scored three runs in the eighth inning to beat Bonneville (9-13, 7-9 Region 11).

Brian Jones batted 2 for 3 while both Aiden Taylor and Colby Taylor hit 2 for 4 with one double.

With the loss, the Lakers must win their remaining two games and Stansbury must lose its three remaining games in order for Bonneville to qualify for the state playoffs.

MORGAN 3, NORTH SUMMIT 1

MORGAN Morgan scored three runs in the bottom of the first to beat North Summit in a game that was called after the third inning.

Ryder Lish and Alex Harden each singled and drove in one for the Trojans (10-13, 6-8 Region 13).

FREMONT 26, WEBER 8

PLEASANT VIEW — Fremont led Weber 5-4 after one inning, then exploded for 21 runs over the next three frames.

Lacey Kearsley and Kynlee Hoggan each drove in six for Fremont (14-5, 8-1 Region 1). Hoggan and Aubrey Morrow each hit a home run and a double while Jadie Aiken hit a triple.

Baylee Blanchard and Teylor Torgerson each hit solo home runs for Weber (5-9, 1-8). Brooke Merrill batted 2 for 2 with two doubles and drove in two.

ROY 9, BOUNTIFUL 8

ROY — Roy scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to hand Bountiful its first region loss.

Jakell Eddy batted 3 for 3 with two doubles and an RBI for Roy (10-11, 6-5 Region 5). Saige Nielsen smacked a two-run double. Maysa Averett picked up the win and also drove in two.

Livi Arona hit two home runs and Abby Steed also homered for Bountiful (16-5, 11-1).

LAYTON 8, NORTHRIDGE 0

LAYTON — Brooklyn Pritchett batted 4 for 4 with a triple and four RBIs for Layton (13-7, 8-0 Region 1) in a shutout of Northridge. Halle Duke added a double with one RBI. Jackie Gold struck out 14 in the complete-game win.

Keziah Stutzman hit a double for one of the four Knights (8-12, 2-7) hits.

WOODS CROSS 16, VIEWMONT 0

BOUNTIFUL — Woods Cross hit four home runs to beat Viewmont (2-18, 0-12 Region 5) in three innings.

Libby Clark tossed a no-hitter for Woods Cross (9-12, 6-6), striking out three and also hitting 3 for 3 with a double and two RBIs. Makenna Trader batted 3 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs.

BEAR FARMINGTON 8, BOX ELDER 7

FARMINGTON — After a 90-minute rain delay, Farmington beat Box Elder (8-14, 6-6 Region 5).

Emily Barton and Delaney Baker both batted 2 for 4 for the Phoenix (9-11, 6-5), with Baker pitching a complete game. Kylie Tingey hit 2 for 3.

Jostlen Leggett batted 2 for 4 with four RBIs for the Bees.

RIVER 14, GREEN CANYON 1

NORTH LOGAN — Bear River clinched at least a share of the Region 12 crown with a five-inning win at Green Canyon.

Jordyn Warren picked up the win for the Bears (15-10, 8-0 Region 12). Ashley Hess hit two of six Bear River doubles.

TOOELE 17, BEN LOMOND 0

OGDEN — Gena Young tallied the only Ben Lomond (2-13, 0-8 Region 11) hit as the Scots fell to Tooele in three innings.

LAYTON — Josh Stucki earned a shutout and Layton scored three second-half goals in a region win at Northridge (3-10, 2-7 Region 1).

Noah Schade, Mathias Chevez and Marco Aguirre each netted while Aguirre and Edgar Galvez notched assists for Layton (11-1-1, 8-1).

DAVIS 2, WEBER 0

PLEASANT VIEW — Joshua Harwood tallied one goal and one assist for Davis (9-1-3, 9-1 Region 1) in a shutout win at Weber (8-4, 6-3). Cole Anderl also netted and Noah Larkin earned the clean sheet.

CLEARFIELD 2, SYRACUSE 1

SYRACUSE — Justin Spafford netted to put Clearfield (5-8, 4-6 Region 1) ahead at the half and Joseph Kennaley scored a game-winner in the 75th minute.

Goalkeeper Liam Jensen scored for Syracuse (3-11-1, 0-10).

ROY 3, BOUNTIFUL 1

BOUNTIFUL — Deontae Ben and Cody Moore each netted for Roy (7-5-1, 3-3-1 Region 5), who also got an own goal, in a region win.

Jaquan Calder scored for Bountiful (3-7-2, 2-5).

BRIGHAM CITY — Cameron Thompson earned the shutout in a win for Box Elder (6-6-1, 3-4 Region 5) over Farmington (2-7-1, 2-4). Reggie Greer and Josh Duncan each netted twice.
