Utah Jazz legend and Basketball Hall of Famer Jerry Sloan died Friday, May 22, 2020, at the age of 78. Sloan was the "Original Bull" with the Chicago Bulls as a player from 1965-76. He averaged 14 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.2 steals per game in his career — still the only player in NBA history to average more than 7 rebounds and 2 steals per game over a career. He coached the Bulls for 3 seasons, then the Utah Jazz for 23, amassing 1,221 career wins, which is fourth-most in NBA history.
