SALT LAKE CITY — Freshman guard Brandon Miller has asked for and been granted his release from the University of Utah men’s basketball team according to Utah head coach Larry Krystkowiak.
“We wish Brandon nothing but the very best in his future endeavors,” Krystkowiak said. “He is a fantastic young man and was a committed teammate during his time here at Utah.”
Miller saw action in two games for the Utes this season. The 2013 graduate of Brighton High School joined the team this fall after serving an LDS mission the previous two years.
“I wish the entire Utah men’s basketball program the best moving forward,” said Miller.
