Weber State head coach Randy Rahe guides his team during a timeout as they play against Western State Colorado University in an exhibition game on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2017, at the Dee Events Center in Ogden.

Weber State basketball announced its 2018 non-conference schedule Thursday, featuring a pair of in-state home games and another trip to the Bahamas.

With the 20-game conference schedule already released, the games complete WSU’s full 31-game slate for the 2018-19 season.

The season unofficially begins Nov. 1 with an exhibition against Chadron State, a Division-II school from Nebraska.

The regular season opens Tuesday, Nov. 6, with a road trip to San Diego, the first of a home-and-home series with the West Coast Conference school.

Division-I home games will bring BYU (Dec. 1), Utah Valley (Dec. 15) and Delaware State (Dec. 22) to the Dee Events Center. Home games also include non-Division-I teams Bethesda and Benedictine.

A previously announced tournament — the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas — will pit Weber State against San Jose State, Cal State Bakersfield and Central Michigan.

The final non-conference road game comes Dec. 5 at Fresno State. The Wildcats will play Utah State on Dec. 8 in this year’s edition of the Beehive Classic at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Conference play begins Dec. 29 and Dec. 31 with a road trip to Eastern Washington and Idaho.

Weber State returns seniors Zach Braxton and Brekkott Chapman, as well as high-scoring junior Jerrick Harding. Randy Rahe returns for his 13th season as head coach.
