Fire restrictions to be implemented Saturday; fireworks discharge banned outside of city, town limits in Weber County

Continued dry conditions throughout the state with few prospects of relief are set to culminate in statewide fire restrictions. Thursday afternoon, Weber Fire District Deputy Chief David Reed notified the Standard-Examiner that the state of Utah will be implementing fire restrictions statewide, effective at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.
