Tim and Miranda McDavid of South Weber announce the engagement of their daughter Lorin McDavid to Blake Barcus. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Kelley and Cheryl Barcus of Park City.

The couple will be married on Oct. 5 at the Silver Lake Lodge in Deer Valley.

She graduated from Northridge High School and the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in finance. She is currently employed as a banker with Wells Fargo Bank in Park City.

He graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is currently employed as a realtor with Keller Williams Real Estate in Park City.

Following a honeymoon in the Riviera Maya, the newlyweds will reside in Park City.
