Whalen-Thompson

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Whalen of Las Cruces, N.M., announce the engagement of their daughter Kerry Lynn Whalen to Nathan Scott Thompson. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Thompson of Lexington, Ky.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 4 at Sweet Cheeks Winery in Oregon.

The future bride is a graduate of Northridge High School and Weber State University. She is employed as a radiation therapist with the US Oncology Network in Oregon.

The future groom is a graduate of Dunbar High School, Centre College and the University of Kentucky. He is employed as a medical physicist, also with the US Oncology Network in Oregon.
