Kathryn Dianne Dunning and Fugang Hou will be united in marriage on March 19 in The Castle in Layton, where a reception will later be held in their honor. The ceremony will be officiated by Mayor Steve Curtis.

She chose De’Aunna Young as her matron of honor. Deborah Dunning and Tanya Dunn will be her bridesmaids.

Simon Lee will performed the duties of best man with Jesse Daniels and Christian Daniels as his groomsmen.

The bride-elect is the daughter of John W. Dunning Jr. and Margaret Faye Meadows-Small of Phoenix.

She has five children: De’Aunna Young, Zachary Dunning, H’Airiee Daniels, Jesse Daniels and Christian Daniels. She has lived in Ogden since 1996.

Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Zong Yu Hou and Jizhou Wang of Qing Dao, China.

He was born in Qing Dao, the youngest of three children. He has no children of his own. He has lived in the United States for six years.

The new couple will live in Ogden after their honeymoon to the Grand Canyon.
