Folsom-Nix

Angela Folsom and Tyler J. Nix have chosen Oct. 20 to be married in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Bountiful Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening in Washington Terrace.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Brad and Wendy Folsom of Washington Terrace.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Rob and Donette Julian of North Ogden, and Joseph and Cindy Nix of Portland, Ore.

She is a hairstylist at Panache Hair Salon in South Ogden. She is a 2004 graduate of Bonneville High School and LDS Seminary, and a 2009 graduate of Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design. She received a Young Womanhood Recognition Award in 2003.

He is a 2004 graduate of Fremont High School and received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Eagle Gate College in 2008. He is currently a supervisor at Focus Services and has accepted a position with the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Department.

After a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in South Ogden with their children: Angela’s son Taye Jordan, and Tyler’s daughter Jaycee Nix.
