The upcoming marriage of Naomi Julia West to Mark Christian Daines is announced by her parents Richard and Rachael West of Chelmsford, England.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Dr. and Mrs. Clifford D. Daines of Willard.

The couple has chosen Thursday, Oct. 24, as their wedding date. They will recite their nuptial vows in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Brigham City Temple. A reception will follow at the Willard Peak Chapel, 655 W. 7615 South, Willard.

The bride-elect graduated from the University of East London. She worked as a secondary school English and music teacher. She served an LDS mission to Scotland.

He served in the South Africa Durban LDS Mission. He attends Weber State University.

After the wedding, the couple will make their home in Willard.
