The future groom is the son of Javier and Amada Chavez of Ogden, Utah.

He graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in Ogden in 2000, the University of Michigan in 2004 and Harvard Business School in 2010. He is employed at William Blair & Co. in Chicago.

The future bride is the daughter of Roger and Janis Grace of Urbana, IL.

She graduated from Urbana High School in 2005 and Baylor University in 2009. She is employed at Sidley Austin in Chicago, IL.
