Robert Edward Pokarth

Robert Edward Pokarth 68, passed away in his home surrounded by loved ones on August 22, 2021. Robert was born March 5, 1953, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Robert enjoyed his career as a foundry engineer for over 40 years. Robert served in the United States Army. While in the Army he was stationed in Illesheim, Germany with the 1st of the 13th battalion. Robert enjoyed gardening, family time, watching war documentaries, working on models, a gun activist, and avid rock collector. Robert is survived by his wife of 49 years Belinda Gail Pokarth. Daughters Melynnie (Michael), Jamie (Johnathan), Cari (Randy). Grandkids Jacob, Jace, Madison, Braidey, Miya, Aidan, Liam, Patrick, Ian. And Great Grandkids Jori, Jaden, Felix. Sisters Cheri (Richard), Debbie (Robert). Proceeded in death by Father Edward Joseph Pokarth, Mother Barbara Fay Leonard-Baumen, Sister Susan Diane Ainsworth. A celebration of life will be held August 26, 2021, at 6019 Wasatch Drive South Ogden, UT at the seasons on skyline clubhouse. Service from 6-9. All family friends and coworker’s welcome. We would like to thank Atlas Hospice care and commend nurses Sydnee and Shannon and everyone else that made our dads passing a little easier.
