Happy 60th Anniversary!: Myron and Carol Taylor
The children of Myron and Carol Taylor are excited to announce the 60th wedding anniversary of their parents. They celebrated at Maddox last night with their children and their spouses.
Myron and Carol were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 29, 1956. They have lived in Clinton their entire marriage.
Myron was born in Clinton on July 14, 1935 to Adrian and Naomi Burnett Taylor. He attended Davis County Schools. He worked for Hertz, Marquardt, construction jobs, and Clinton Nursery. He served in the Utah National Guard. His interests include gardening, Dutch Oven cooking, and spending time with family.
Carol was born in Hooper on October 23, 1936 to William T. and Elnora Simpson Kilts. She attended Weber County Schools; graduating from Weber High School in 1954. She worked at Tailoring Mills, S.H. Kress, and MRI. She loved being a stay at home mom, raising their children, being a homemaker, sewing, making wedding dresses, and quilting.
They had fun over the years at the property they owned at Sourdough Ranch. They are active in the LDS Church and have served in many callings. Myron is serving as a Stake Clerk.
Their children and their spouses are: Dale and Julie Wood, Clinton; Jerry and Sally Taylor, Kaysville; James and Peggy Taylor, Layton; Denzil and Judy Dickson, Elkridge; and John and Paula Taylor, West Point.
They have 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
