Gerrit (Gary) and Mari Brown Wolthuis of North Ogden, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Maddox.

They were married August 22, 1968, in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with five sons: Ryan (Angie), Aaron (Nikki), Eric (Melissa), Kevin (Amanda), Alex (Heather); who gave them five wonderful daughters and 13 grandchildren.

Gary is a retired banker and currently has his own mortgage company. He has been involved with the WSU Emeriti Alumni, serving as president. Mari works at Coleman’s and is the current Ogden City Mother of the Year. They have enjoyed their many trips to Europe and church history tours in Great Britain and North America.
