James and Jennifer were married on December 21, 1968. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Chicago, Illinois Temple.

Jenny graduated from Leiston Secondary Modern School and Jim graduated from Davis High School class of 1961. Jim then graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah and later a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Southern California.

They met at the International Club in Leiston England where Jim was serving in the US Air Force and Jennifer worked at Sizewell Nuclear Power Station. Throughout Jim’s military career as a meteorologist, they lived in Germany, Illinois and South Dakota and made numerous trips to England to visit relatives. Jennifer worked for many years at the AAFES Base Exchange at Chanute AFB, Illinois and at Hill AFB until retirement. Since retirement they have been active in numerous callings with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

They raised three daughters, Rachael (George) Waller, Shannon (Brett) Moore and Becky (Jeff) Burton. They are blessed with four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
