Phil and Marsha Johnson celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

They met at a Salt Lake Junior Democrats meeting during the 1964 election season, where they are sure their participation helped President Lyndon Johnson and Gov. Rampton win the election!

They were high school sweethearts and were married on June 19, 1968. They attended the University of Utah and then moved to Connecticut, and California, where Phil attended graduate school.

He has been in private practice as a family therapist in Utah, since 1979, and was an adjunct professor at Weber State University.

Marsha worked in the insurance field and has also been a wonderful homemaker.

They have one son, Matt (Melanie); one daughter, Dani (Lynn); and one bonus daughter, Char. They are also blessed with treasured grandchildren. They celebrated with family and friends at Ruth’s Chris in Park City. Go Utes and Cats!
