D.J. and Geneal (Jensen) were married May 21, 1948, in Ogden. They were later sealed in the LDS Ogden Temple.

Geneal loves quilting and D.J. loves to go fishing.

They were blessed with three sons: Brett (Susan), Scott (Geri), Cory (Kathy); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

They have always lived in the Ogden area and currently reside in Riverdale.

They have had 70 wonderful years together.
