The children of Carl Ray and Ida Avon Wiese are happy to announce the 74th Wedding Anniversary of their parents. They were married November 4, 1944, in Mineral Wells, Texas; and were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

Ray served in the Army during World War II and was employed by the Postal Service in Ogden. Avon worked at Van Kampen’s and Sons Furniture Store and then ZCMI in Ogden.

They are active members of the Sullivan Hollow 1st Ward, and have held many callings. They also served as ordinance workers in the Ogden LDS Temple.

Their children and spouses are: Douglas Ray and Joy Wiese, Carl Bruce Wiese, and Jill and Rick Hadley. They are grandparents of 12 and great- grandparents of 45.

They will celebrate with family at a special dinner.
