The children of Fermin and Emma Martinez are blessed to announce their parents 65th Wedding Anniversary.

They were married on October 10, 1953, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Layton. They are active parishioners of St. Rose of Lima. They reside in Layton and enjoy spending time with their family, going out to dinner, playing weekend games and going to dances with family and friends.

Dad worked at Hill AFB for 38 years. Mom was a homemaker to their seven children. Their children and spouses are: Dolores (deceased) Wilber Valdez, Cathy Martinez, Jeffrey (Linda, deceased) Martinez, Gina (John) Medina, Shellie (Scott) Deschamps, Kareen (Gerald) Lomeli and Brian Martinez.

Their grandchildren and great-grandchildren are: Trina, BreAnna, Daniel (Elizabeth), Melissa, Krista, Sara, Marissa, Olivia, Gabriel, Sami, Tyler, Hailey, Bria, Michael and baby Kateri on the way.

They will be celebrating with a family dinner in their honor. Their exemplarily love they have for each other has been so beautiful to see throughout the years. Their love and faithfulness to God flows down through their children and families. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful parents and grandparents.
