Dolores and Kenneth Alford of Ogden, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with their children at a family dinner held at Maddox in Perry.

They were married on September 16, 1953, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple.

Dolores is the daughter of Joseph Hawkeswood and Ruby Lillian Peyton Hawkeswood. Kenneth is the son of James W. Alford and Anelda Allen Alford.

Their children and spouses are: Kenneth L. and Sherilee Bond Alford, Linda and Jerry Evans, Pam and Ron Smith, and Doug and Ket Alford. They have 17 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
