An Open House is being held in their honor to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on September 29, 2018, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 2830 W. 3825 S., in West Haven by their children. In case of bad weather it will be held at 3845 S. 2000 W. in Roy.

They were married on October 11, 1968, in Reno, Nevada. They reside in Roy and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren as well as traveling. They are the parents of Mathew Clayton, Jan Thompson, Amy Cardosi, and Cody (Shawnie) Clayton. They have 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
