Earl was born in Grace, ID and Janice grew up in Pocatello, ID. They met while Earl was home on leave from the Marine Corp. They were married on April 3, 1959 in Pocatello, Idaho and solemnized a year later in the Logan Temple.

They have four children, Bryan (Beverly) Kingsford Orem UT, Verl Kingsford Kaysville UT, Ron (Lisa) Kingsford Greeley CO, Janelle (Jared) Austin Acworth GA. They also have 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. They were a military family for 20 years and traveled different places all around the world. Each of their 3 boys were born in a different state and their daughter was born in a different country.

When Earl retired from the Air Force, they settled in Roy, UT where they have lived for the past 40 years. Earl has been active in scouting for over 50 years. They both have served throughout their married life in many different church callings. They are a wonderful example to their kids and grandkids and everyone around them. They have always opened up their home and helped anyone that was ever in need. People would call it the “Kingsford Hotel.”
